Here's a little story. It might lead up to something.
:B

There was a point in time, where before Concept Galaxy really came to fruition, that Stephanie Chateau sold comic books at conventions. Because booths at conventions are expensive and artists have little money (supplies are even more expensive) She would get tables in Artist Alley.

At one particular AFO, she sat next to Heather... whom was playing music to try and drown out the dreadful sounds emanating from a table down the way.

Well, Stephanie had a partner siting at the table that was tired of hearing music outside of her particular range of flavors and had donated a CD to this cause... and was forgotten about.

Exactly one year later, at the same show, Heather returned the CD.

There was discussion about meeting up at an Artist Alley at another show and they both figured that they would give it a try... and it stunk. Due to lack of interest at the tables, and very little in the way of artwork sales, they got to talking.

As it turned out, Stephanie needed a website that was properly maintained, and Heather needed something to do. So they collaborated and got a site up for Stephanie's comics, which was then called "Galaxy Productions".

Well, Stephanie and Heather could have parted ways then, but Stephanie had been invited back to PersaCon - a show that she had been a guest at since it's beginning. Not wanting to disappoint the crowd there by repeating things from years before, she offered to do a themed event in which she would take her current cosplay project (Carmen Sandiego) and have a scavenger hunt.

This was a well-accepted idea and Stephanie realized that she would need help. So she asked some friends to come up to Alabama with her so that things would run a little bit more smoothly than if it were just her. Since Heather had helped set up another website as a precursor to the event, she was invited along as well.

This worked out well, but since the scavenger hunt was only on Saturday, Heather had not much to do the rest of weekend.

Stephanie on the other hand was very busy and thus allowed Heather to use her pre-assigned artist alley table (which was then also shared with Lisa Furukawa). During the whole time at the table, Heather answered questions about the interactive event that Stephanie ran the day before.

Well, as Stephanie developed a passion for creating stage shows and games she spent less and less time behind an artist table. Heather, on the other hand, continued to run artist alley tables under her own studio name. Since she often accompanied Stephanie to shows (and visa versa) it had become known that questions about these "interactive events" could be answered by her. Eventually she started allowing Stephanie to leave stuff on her table as well.

Thus the Dragonmun Studios / Concept Galaxy table was formed.

If you guys have any questions about upcoming events and would like to speak to someone in person about Concept Galaxy stuff (or perhaps buy some comics), the Dragonmun Studios table is a place that you can do it.

Random note: I have no idea why I decided to write that in a 3rd person.

I dunno. That POV made it seem more official, while at the same time kind of like a bedtime story. *Shrug*

Anyways, is the table going to be at MetroCon '09? That's probably the next con I'll attend.

Heather your going to confuse them. Here. I'll make the story easier to follow..

*eh he he hem*

Since these days of ancient times in ancient lore of ancient folk in and of ancient con legends it was decided upon there of one day in accordance to the prophecy that Galaxy Productions would transform into what we now know as Concept Galaxy, a beautiful metaphorical creature with many heads that focuses on concepts for entertainment, whereas the steady rock that was and always will be Dragonmun Studios saw that the creature known as Concept Galaxy was growing so many heads that they were tangling up in each other and strangling themselves and causing much aggrivatious pain to itself this creature. So the great beastly dragon Dragonmun knew what it must do to help Concept Galaxy and offered to devour the strangled heads that lay withered and growing canerous tumours that needed to be lopped off to save the creature know as Concept Galaxy. So Dragonmun did eat those heads and they now grow parasitically inside of her great belly and when the great Dragon named Dragonmun regergutates the devoured heads they will be in the form of comics and products from what was once the part of Concept Galaxy that is no more. That is to say the devoured Galaxy Productions. The Beast Concept Galaxy ever thankful to the Dragon named Dragonmun awaits this glorious day that they will produce treasures together, seperate but as one.

Hehe... I had soda once. I attempted to drink it.

It's on the monitor now.

X'D

That was amusing Steph. I'm going to scribble that somewhere now and you know it.

For me personally, MetroCon is a hard convention to get to... not because of location, but because of timing. Since it's induction it's happened on a weekend that has been impossible for me to go. If timing allows, I might do it. Not sure yet.

ZOMG! I remember that! Haha! Awesome!

I can't remember the characters name, but like... she was kind of anti-social right? Hehe. You have the other pictures of her as well? She's a cool character. :B

She wasn't so much anti-social as excluded-socially.

yeah all the various pictures I have are here:

Takumi aka Shady Taki

Actually there's a couple other pics, but one is drawn by me, and I won't even put it in my scanner for fear the scanner will be killed, and the other couple are wip by the artists atm.
