To make matters worse Carmen Sandiego has come armed with a special surprise: a clone of Kefka Palazzo and he stole the convention's bankroll!

"Multiverse Mayhem"
Performed at RealmsCon 2009 in Corpus Christi, Texas
Its a multidimensional misadventure like no other
A scientific team from a local university in Corpus Christi TX make news for a claim that they made to the local newspaper that they have been visited by time travelers from another dimension. Supposedly the time traveler's technology has evolved quite differently from our universes, relying heavily on steam instead of electricity as a primary resource for power. Adding to the rash of odd events making news in Corpus Christi are reports of a break in at the university's laboratory and the theft of some research papers and several pieces of equiptment. An eye witness on campus who was able to describe characteristics of some of the perpetrators has led the ACME detective agency to believe that the VILE Organization is involved and the convention Realmscon may also be VILE's next target. It is suspected that their red coated ringleader is ready for revenge.

"Catch her if you Can"
Performed at Anime Festival Wichita 2009 in Wichita, Kansas
An updated version of the original "Catch her if you Can" scavenger hunt first test run at Persacon in 2008. In this version of the game players not only had to track down Carmen and the convention's missing ticket sales, but they also had to help crack clues that ACME's "clueless" Junior detective, Katie Holmes couldn't seem to solve on her own. The clues for this game were centered largely around the history of the state of Kansas and Frank Baum's infamous "Wizard of Oz" series.
DID YOU KNOW: This is where Concept Galaxy's Prop Master Rick Cape was first discovered? In her down time from the scavenger hunt game Stephanie also participated as a cosplay contest judge for AFW 09. When reviewing contestants she asked a Pyramid Head cosplayer how he managed to keep the characters movement down so accurately in such a cumbersome looking costume. Rick pulled off his Pyramid Head to show he had attached a video recorder lens to a PSP inside the helmet so he could see out of it when walking around in character. Stephanie awarded Rick with a "Technically Innovative" award to go along with AFW's "Best of Show" award, and asked if they could "stay in touch".
"A Midummer's Night-MARE"
Performed at EXPcon 2008 in St. Augustine, Florida
After having a reoccurring nightmare that one of her VILE agents rallies her gang to commit mutiny against her Carmen Sandiego decides to focus on a recruitment effort, just in case... With a bit of research Carmen and her gang decide the best place to spend a weekend recruiting would be the World Golf Renaissance Resort.
Intrigued by the con chair's desire to focus on theater related events Carmen decides to tease him by creating a Shakespeare themed heist. The joke is on her though when a mysterious character by the name of Robin Goodfellow (or Puck for short) appears and turns VILE's Midsummer's Night Dream into a Midsummer Nightmare!

"Let's Brawl"
Performed at RealmsCon 2008 in Corpus Christi, Texas
As a fan of the Super Smash Brothers series Stephanie decided to celebrate the U.S. release of Super Smash Brothers BRAWL by creating an interactive scavenger hunt based around the game. In the game players had to help the Pokemon Trainer find the pokeballs with his pokemon inside that Princess Daisy hired a Team Rocket grunt to steal out of bitterness that her cousin Princess Peach appears in SSBB (wearing her dress!) and she doesn't. In the end Samus and the Pokemon Trainer help the cousins make ammends and the Team Rocket grunt goes blasting off again!
DID YOU KNOW: This was Will Ward's first appearance as the Pokemon Trainer? His first time cosplaying? Even his first time on the stage in front of a live audience? His sister, Mia Ward made his costume for him after Stephanie asked him if he wouldn't mind filling the role of the Pokemon Trainer that she still hadn't found the right actor for. C.J. Collins was also supposed to be a part of this event, and would have been cast as Luigi, but couldn't make the performance because of school obligations.

"Catch Her If You Can "
Performed at PersaCon 2008 in Huntsville, Alabama
America is in the middle of an economic down turn and it seems even the V.I.L.E. Organization is feeling its effects. Carmen blames Kefka for the gang's dwindling resources claiming he has spent too much of the organization's budget on "frivolous" items instead of on the essentials needed to pull off the kind of large scale heists Carmen is accustomed to. As punishment Carmen sends Kefka (with Harley Quinn tagging along) to Alabama to create a distraction for the police and the staff of Persacon so she can kill two birds with one stone. -- Fixing the V.I.L.E. Organization's financial crisis and getting revenge on the Persacon staff (for foiling her Saturn V heist 2 years ago) by stealing all of the convention's ticket sales for the weekend.
DID YOU KNOW: Thsi was the event that earned our Interactive Events Director, Liz Doyle her title? For this particular production Stephanie was insistent the style of the game be drastically different the first information and riddle based hunt that debuted at Persacon in 2006. She wanted to make sure things stayed "fresh" and "innovative" so Liz set to work playing with an idea for a game system based around the storyline using "play money". The game system was easy to learn and enjoyable for both casual players and the more hardcore. The game system has been constantly experimented and improved upon since it's initial run and because of it's popularity, will continue to be refined for future interactive productions.

"A Time Warped Wonderland"
Performed at JaniCon 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida
In this production Carmen Sandiego is up to no good again. This time stealing ACME's "Chrono Skimmer". A top secret device that allows one to travel through time and even other dimensions of space! Carmen uses the device to recruit some of the biggest baddest bad guys ever known throughout anime, video games, and comic books to help her revive her V.I.L.E. (Villain's International League of Evil) Organization. Carmen and her newly recruited gang decide to theme their heist around Lewis Carrol's "Alice in Wonderland" to mock the convention's "Gothic Wonderland" theme when they crash the party. The objective? To steal the convention's over the top "big brother" style satellite security system. ACME is hot on the V.I.L.E. gangs trail though, along with a group of time travelers who are on a mission to stop Carmen and her gang from disrupting the delicate balance of time and space!
DID YOU KNOW: Because of the success of the events listed prior Stephanie began being invited to several small cons as both an artist and a cosplay guest? Word of mouth was getting around about a strange artist guest on the con scene who was better known for her scavenger hunts (and dressing up like Carmen Sandiego) then her comics. This led to the directors of Janicon contacting Stephanie and asking her if she would like to direct an interactive event for them, but on a much larger scale. To make the director's dream happen it was time for Concept Galaxy to hold it's first set of auditions in search for some cosplay "stars".
The initial auditions held in Jacksonville turned up a lot of gems in the way of singing talent, (including Miki Sorroca and Jared Earnest, who have both performed multiple times in Concept Galaxy productions since then.) but the turn out for cosplayers was seriously lacking. Not certain if it was because of the weather, location, or a combination of both, Stephanie turned to the Janicon directors and asked if it was possible to hold a second set of auditions in Orlando where she knew a lot of cosplayers that she could personally invite. She also advised the directors to personally invite any cosplayers they know who like to "act in character" or liked to play the role of a villain. The directors all laughed and said they knew "just the guy" to invite.
When the second set of auditions were held in Orlando a lot more cosplayers showed up, including C.J. Collins as his favorite video game villain, Kefka Palazzo. Stephanie was blown away by his acting talent but even more so by his personality. His ability to both take and give direction when needed, and his and Stephanie's shared vision to make the focus of the production about interacting with the con attendees one on one made Stephanie think twice about having him as just an actor in the show. The two began talking regularly, bouncing ideas around, writing script ideas, and making plans for filming. It was only a matter of time before C.J. received his official title as C.G.'s Film Director.

"Greg's Gantz Ball... GONE"
Performed at RealmsCon 2007 in Corpus Christi, Texas
The Super Ayres brothers (Chris and Greg Ayres) have been invited to Realmscon! Greg is running late so Chris offers to stall for time by talking about his experience directing the English version of the Gantz series. Chris being a very "serious" director reveals he studied the Gantz series carefully so he could better understand where he should take it directionally. In fact he studied the series so closely that he was able to find a way to recreate his very own Gantz ball in his basement at home.
"Persacon... Pilfered by Pirates?!"
Performed at PersaCon 2007 in Huntsville, Alabama
Persacon celebrates it's 5th Anniversary by inviting it's two most frequently returning comic artist guests Stephanie Chateau and Steve Bennett to host their 5th Anniversary Opening Ceremonies. Steph and Steve agree to M.C., however neither can be found come time for Opening Ceremonies! The con staff does it's best to assure the audience they are probably just running late. As the con staff attempts to keep things going with or without their guest hosts they are suddenly interrupted by a mysterious gypsy girl who informs them that Steph and Steve looked into a cursed mirror that belonged to her where she had sealed the spirits of numerous evil undead pirates that used to terrorize her hometowns harbor. As the gypsy girl tries to explain the disastrous event that has occurred she is suddenly bum rushed by Steph and Steve... who do not seem quite... themselves!
The two convention guests have been transformed into the undead pirate Captain Dark Blue and the dread pirate "Steve-Feng". Not far behind them is Will Turner (played by Heather Scott) who has come to stop the possessed pirate pair. He is unsuccessful in his attempt when reminded by the "con mom" that the convention has a "no weapons" policy. As it is his job to guide the lost souls of the sea he and the mysterious gypsy girl implore the audience to assist them in trying to find the cursed mirror and the cursed gold now in Dark Blue and Steve-Feng's possession, so that Steph and Steve can be returned to their normal selves and the pirate spirits can be sent where they belong.
DID YOU KNOW: This was Steve Bennett's first cameo appearance in a number of guest cameos he would make for Concept Galaxy's Shows and Interactive Events? Steve enjoyed being part of this first Show so much that he sent Stephanie and Heather both a Thank You e-mail afterward, saying if they ever needed him to participate in a show again to just give him a holler. Since then he has been called back to guest star in Concept Galaxy productions time and time again. Some of his most memorable cameo roles include his portrayal of "Dick Gumshoe" in numerous shows, and his portrayal of an Emperor from feudal Japan in C.G.'s "Time Warped Wonderland" Production.

"Go for the Gold! It takes greed to succeed!"
Performed at RealmsCon 2006 in Corpus Christi, Texas
"Go for the Gold" was the second interactive scavenger hunt game Stephanie created. She based the game around the main character of her independently published manga "Oh, Captain!" Captain Blue. Players had to collect as many coins as possible and turn them into Captain Blue before the sun went down in exchange for a treasure chest full of prizes. After that any coins found at night went towards a "cursed" bonus prize for the truely "greedy" players willing to take the risk.
"A Weekend in Gion"
Performed at PersaCon 2006 in Huntsville, Alabama
Persacon was the first convention to feature a Concept Galaxy interactive event, in which Stephanie pitched the idea for a storyline-based scavenger hunt where Carmen Sandiego nabbed 5 items belonging to the convention's geisha mascot. Throughout he weekend, attendees would solve various riddles in order to figure out where she hid the stolen items and potentially uncover the historical item she was truly after - Huntsville's own Saturn V rocket!
